One of the greatest economist of the past century passed away today. Milton Friedman was a remarkable intellectual who introduced and/or advocated free market polices based on individual liberty. I learned about Dr. Friedman while studying economics at UGA (that’s the dotwu connection) and his thoughts and ideas were influential to me.
